Electro rock duo AirLight, from Oslo, Norway, combines influences from ’00’s alternative rock scene with modern electronic synthesized productions.

December 2013, Running Out of Time, AirLights second EP came out. It reached #1 on iTunes Rock charts in Norway, and stayed in the top 5 the first week. Like the first EP, it was done completely DIY with 0 $ in budget.

The band has played around 30 shows in the last year and a half, all self booked. All over Norway and supporting LA-based singer-songwriter Xander Smith (from RunRunRun) on the Scandinavian leg of his 2013 European tour.

“The truth is we just love playing music. No matter what genre now matter what audience, we just love a good pop song. We just love playing. It’s that simple.”

And simple is the new complicated.
